I know that this trip was a few years ago, but did you feel welcomed at Paris? Ever since what happened in 2014, many Parisians are fearful towards Muslims. Did you face any discrimination there? I am thinking of visiting Paris probably in the future and I'm a bit worried since I wear a headscarf...

Hey there, I visit Paris a lot and didnβt have problems so far. Yes, society in general unfortunately is not very pro Muslims but specifically Paris is full of Muslims, so no worries. You wonβt stand out too much

Haha I love these chairs in Jardin du Luxembourg ! Even if they are actually always taken...
There are also chairs in Jardin des Tuileries. It's new, 'cause when I was little there wasn't any chairs anywhere.
Coffees are expensive in the touristics area but if you know the city you can find cheap coffees

And 1β¬ for a coffee in a coffeeshop. It's in the North of Paris. It's less expensive than in the middle and in the east of paris (where are the eiffel tower and other stuffs for tourists).
But it's really annoying when you are lost in the east and when you are very hungry haha

That's one piece of culinary trivia I wasn't aware of. Interesting.
I also wasn't aware that the security around the Eiffel Tower is to thight these days O-o
And yes, the Mona Lisa is that small. But honestly I never understood why people are surprised by this. I mean sure, many renessaince portraits have bigger dimensions but I personally always imagined her to be around A4 dimensions.

I didnt feel discriminated in the short time I was there. I know there are issues concerning the headscarf in school etc., but in everyday life I dont think it defers that much from Germany.
