Description They're using different languages, but the words are same, and their meaning is clear enough in any language.

Just another little Legacy-Verse sketch. A random event in the Human-Alareen war. One of these two is headed to a POW camp. The other his going to have quite a story to tell....

I won't say that I failed at the perspective, but it wasn't nearly as forced and dramatic as I had wanted. I had imagined litterally looking up the barrel of the gun. Also, I was thinking rifles. But those are hard to draw. They're a lot longer, they've got different pieces that have to line up, and they've got to be positioned to work with both hands, and the torso, and the head... Bah. Its just a lot simpler to draw pistols.

Adding the laser sights made me happy, though.

The Alareen, the Legacy-Verse, and all that, were created by Durendal

"No pun intended"? Really? Well, I appreciate the pun anyway...

I guess one of the issues with sci-fi settings is you can't really be certain how much of a punch the weapons are actually packing. Though I'm guessing the bigger ones pack more of one or a lot more kick. That doesn't really matter though right now if the little gun still has enough kick to take her head off.

Lol, to echo Butler's thought from the frist book of Artimes Fowl, "Different race, same macho clichΓ©s."
This is an instant fav.

I actually like the pistols in this case. I can see where the rifle would've been more "in your face" but this works almost as well.

Human all the way. Can't go wrong with the two-handed grip.

Yeah, the two handed grip salvaged a lot of this pic. It made for a very heroic pose. If I do say so myself. *glances at new avatar*

ooh, very nice, and very true. Someone's gonna have a story to tell; either about a gutsy human who stood up to his captor, or a human that's gonna be a legend when he single handedly captured an alaerin

Ooh, I like it. I get what you mean about what you wanted to do with it, and that would have been pretty damn awesome. ^^

As it is it's still pretty damn nice. Though it reminds me once again that I have no Alaerin alphabet, and just snippets of language at all. >.>

Thnaks!

Heh. Well, we can't all be Tolkien, making up whole new languages, and whatnot...

Nope, but there's more than one person working on it. You know what they say about monkeys and typewriters. XD

That's not what they say, but it's certainly sound advice.
