Viv Vision+ Red Tornado (Earth 2) (filling the role of Young Vision in Young Avengers)

Prometheus knew from history that Nightingale would create the Teen Avengers to defeat Belasgon. Prometheus was a young man who also knew he was destined to become the Time Conqueror, and believed the young heroes could prevent that from happening. He also knew the Teen Avengers needed help. Nightingale was unable to recruit the Justice League Avengers as they had recently faced a devastating defeat that left Vortex destroyed amongst other members who perished in that defeat. Prometheus arrived in the ruins of the Justice Avengers compound where he discovered the shattered remains of Vortex' body. He used elements of the power armor he used to time travel to replace missing parts of Vortex' mass, though there was more missing than he had been prepared for. He also discovered that Vortex' mental engrams were highly damaged, and he used a spare AI to patch missing elements of Vortex' mind. When activated, Vortex' old body and Prometheus' armor melded together with little intervention needed from Prometheus after he started the process. The new personality melded from Prometheus' AI program and Vortex engrams became a new personality, younger, lacking Vortex' experience, and identifying as a woman. When the body was formed, it took the form of a woman about the age appearance of the other Teen Avengers.

Vy Vortex joined the Teen Avengers and helped defeat Belasgon, and stayed with the team helping them defeat many other foes. When Vortex inevitably came back, he came back in a completely new body, leaving Vy Vortex a unique being. Vortex later was named Presidential envoy for the Justice League Avengers, and moved to Washington DC. He had Vy Vortex move with him and adopted her as his own daughter, rationalizing that she was created from his own materials and in some ways actually already WAS his daughter.

Vy has some slightly more advanced powers than her father, but primarily are the same. Able to fly via generated whirlwinds, to control winds, to phase through solid objects and become so solid herself that winds can't move her. She seems to be able to generate electrical discharges as well, but so far has not been able to control them and they seem to just be special FX from her whirlwinds. Vy Vision continues to be a teammate of the Teen Avengers.

Meta Backstory
Nothing crazy here... just filling out members of the Teen Avengers based on either a root character from Young Avengers or New Teen Titans... this one...is a bit of a tangent admittedly. Young Avengers had a young version of Vision. Since then, Viv Vision was created and joined the Champions. I didn't want to just do a young version of Vortex for the Teen Avengers, so I decided that I would use the Viv Vision character base to still fill that role. And then I gave her an origin very similar to Young Vision's origin after Disassembled. Also, this was a pretty fun character to draw. And... wow... all my Teen Avengers so far are ladies. I need to draw some of the guy members!
