EDIT: Since this is my most popular stamp/deviation, I've decided to resize it so that its size doesn't misplace other stamps.
EDIT AGAIN: Gah, I'm really beginning to dislike how popular this stupid stamp I made in 5 minutes is getting, while my other artwork isn't even 1/10th as popular. Oh well. Nothing that can be done about it.
Seriously? What's the point? Home is supposed to be a break from school. It's supposed to be YOUR TIME. Apparently, teachers don't want us to have free time. Isn't 7 hours of school enough?!? Why pile another 2-3 on top of that?!? The only teacher I've had that was considerate enough to acknowledge that kids have lives was my 8th grade History teacher. Man, I miss him... D=

They give us homework over the holidays! I mean what the actual hell? Do they even know what holidays are for? They're to give us a break from schoolwork so we can recharge our batteries so we're energised for the next term! I have four whole exam papers to finish during the Christmas holidays, it's horrible.

I especially hate those projects that take you like, weeks to do. My 7th grade science teacher gave us a model assignment that was due like, next week! Doesn't she know how LONG model take?

at one of my schools they waited until after a break and loaded us with homework packets (from all 7 periods) with 50-100 questions because they didn't plan for the final exams so we had to finish that within 4 days. .-.

I'm okay with it, but some teachers really need to understand that I have a life outside the classroom. Also, piling on Literature, History, Geology that's nothing but busywork, Botany, Sociology, and a monthly Art project when I already have crap to fill out for college and a part time job AND a whiny insatiable mother to deal with already feels fucking PATRONIZING. Plus, I'm trying to get my FAFSA filled out today but she'd rather clean the house than help me out.

This is exactly why I NEVER do my homework. Where I come from, Homework doesn't count as a grade, and what we learn is pretty damn easy anyways, so I see homework and I'm like, "Fuck it, I'm gettin on the computer."

What REALLY sucks for me is that I have to do about 3 hours of studying on the weekends, and usually about 4 or 5 on the weeknights. PLUS, I get distracted easily, so if I see a pencil or something, I immediately space out.

The only class I really get homework in is Math. I rarely get homework in any other class. :3 I still hate doing it, though, because the math teacher gives us homework everyday.

Only math homework?! Heck, that's heaven my friend. I get homework for sociology, history, dutch, german, french, english, math, art, literature, physics, biology and science. I should post my sociology test summary here, it will make you feel blessed, honestly. XD

I think you should feel blessed haha, but I also chose for it since I have the highest 'level' (vwo) of education in my country. Vwo isΒ the education program (for kids of 12 - 19 years old) that prepares you for university so yeah. You can also follow lower education systems, but yeah I'm a perfectionist and want to get a nice job later I still do vwo because if you don't have vwo qualifications but a qualificationΒ of another level (havo-mavo-kader or basis) you can't go to the univeristy so yeah. Vwo is pretty damn 'let's ruin a childhood by giving tons of homework and tests' idea or something hahahahΒ XD Especially exams are a pain in the ass, I had 4 exams this exam week (history, sociology, physics/biology/science and spiritual bullshit which I forgot the subject name in English, english ain't my mother tongue so yeah. That spiritual bullshit is incredibly boring though.) and had to study 720 pages for it in 3 weeksΒ ;-; Also at vwo 75% of you answers needs to be correct to score a 6 out of 10 so that doesn't make it any easier.
