cmon, its a sailors hat, they dont have transparent visors to look through, its for casting shade and not getting blinded. The original character had it the right way, why did u change it?

Because I wanted to. I was taking an experimental stab at turning it into a Gatchaman type mask / visor. If you don't like it, that is fine. Enjoy Popeye the way you want to. There are tons of drawing that do it the way you want to see it. You will also note that the traditional Popeye does not have a superhero logo emblazoned upon his chest, but there you have it.Β Have a good day.
