really fantastic Fyuvix! I'm glad you were able to do some work you can feel really proud about. These look absolutely gorgeous. You're such an art rockstar! I always enjoy how you improve my leaps and bounds sometimes.

I missed your drawing. (I am slowly collecting them on my hard disk)
I remember when I was little, i was inspired a lot by art of others. i didn't actively copied, but I was constantly asking myself 'what would my characters do in the same situation? and what if...?'
Maybe I should do it again too.

Thank you so much! I think -everyone- copies at some point in their childhood. We're visual creatures, and nothing we create will ever be 100% of our own imagination, as our minds basically pull in information and we interpret it, and spit it back out in our own expression combined with other things we've input into our minds. Little kids begin by drawing the world as they see it and that's why the art is so 'unrefined' and abstract. As they get older, they begin to be influenced by the cartoons they watch and the situations they see in tv and real life.
For years I was damaged by the thinking that one had to be original, and that fanart would never get you anywhere in life. It gave me a complex at an early age that I wasn't allowed to even enjoy something too much lest I copy it and my work be tainted or ruined. For years after that, I never allowed myself to get too attached to any show, game, or movie, and I missed out on a lot of my childhood because of that, all the while having never really even escaped influences. Because the truth is, whether you're consciously copying or subconsciously copying, your work will always be influenced by what you look at. So I realized it's better to be conscious of what I intake, how I intake it, and how I express it back outwards, than to pretend like it's not a real thing. I just wish it didn't take me ten years to do so.

Noo gosh, I'm so glad you did! Artists do themselves a disservice when they shut out outside influences and I'm 100% about being inspired by the things you like. <3 Thanks so much for sharing.
