It reminds me fragment from my story of Eve:
At the time of travel through the communications system of the city, she fly through one of the organic form of oval pits and climbs up it. As the flight of the mine walls begin to glow from within the soft white light at the end of the tunnel is seen blossoming like a lotus flower opens out. From the outside readings mechanical decorated with gold and copper hands reveals and let out the flying vehicle of Eve. She is to sit down in front of a huge mechanical sculpture of Lord Shiva who danced measured. Eva was in a huge room in which there was no clear ceiling in a soft orange mist. The floor was covered with beautiful mosaics. She went right towards the right wall decorated with gold stucco with arches at the base of which went to the same orange haze on both sides as far as the eye could see.
After going through few series of arcs with golden columns, she went to another is the same huge room only space here was spent in a bluish gray haze. This room is different from pregoing the fact that it was the huge tank with water at the center of room that is left on either side hiding in the distant haze. On the other side of the pond was a complex of ancient Indian temples. Eva ran toward the water and jumped into it soon lost consciousness and her synthetic body gently sank to the bottom at the hands of the ancient statue of Buddha.
I have not even tried yet seriously analyze what occurred to me.

I think that just a hint of space within the white would really give them a lot of depth. I don't think you would have to completely loose the negative space to do that. Even if you just gave a hint of a horizon line or a small bank if clouds. I think especially with this one you need something, given the fact that she's flying but in terms of the image there isn't a lot of context about where she is flying, through, around, in or about. Is it sky? Is it space? Is it forest? Is it sunny? Is it cloudy? Right now there is nothing behind here, which could be a blank window or opaque object but given the design on the top, it looks open as if you should see something.
Lol, I think it's interesting though. You don't tend to put skies in your drawings but they are there when you color them.

*chuckles* Flying through a cloud bank?
I think that you could give the suggestion of space with simple details that would still preserve a lot of the white space but give the image a lot of depth. But lol, just something to think about.
