Description
say whatever you want about DotF as a game, but i love the atmosphere, and the early stages had some of my favourite. i've wanted to do a proper painting of this for like, ever since i was 12 years old, but I could never get one out that looked any good. AT LAST I AM PLEASED.used a few references for this, obviously, the main one being this picture to help me to get the scenery look good. i also used some screenshots from a video to help me get the pose right.

dotf was fun as fuck but the story was a bunch of hastily stitched together bullshit. its also super frustrating. but its got some really interesting shit in it and its aesthetic shall live on in my work. WHORAY.

Wow, really nice artwork! It does a great job bringing back the memories of when I first played DotF on my Dreamcast. What a beautiful game (even though it get's creepy as fuck later

I also love how it reminds me of the earlier games, narrow passages to travel, warily, getting lost, etc. :'I 2d <3 I love how it bleedsΒ with DOFT 3d, like the 2 levels that pay homage. :>
I kinda stupidly excite when I see a simple glyph pop up in Ecco art. :C Idky. Those things are my crack.
