History

Always soft spoke, Autem was quiet pup who tended to help her mother more then play with other pups. Her family was one of the largest in the Ortis clan, despite after the Ludicium the Ascalabotes were sent to the clan where they where most needed, many of her older siblings ended up back in the Ortis clan. She was born at the tail end of the dark season, a time not so common for pups but it happened to be lucky as the frost season afterwards was harsh and being over a month old when the blizzards struck helped her and her siblings survive. It became clear at a young age that she liked to mend things, helping her mother mend their eaily or mending the toys her siblings and other pups brought her. As she started to grow into an adult, the stereotypical fuzz of a male, with the mane that continues down the back to the tail tip, began to be apparent. Autem was upset by her appearance quickly changing away from the one she had created in her youth and was afraid that she wasn't going be allowed to be considered a female anymore since she didn't look the part but her fears were put to rest by her family and she kept her more male-like appearance because "I know who I am and that's all that matters." Up to the Great Devastation she lived a life typical for any Praetexo in the Auster clan, the loss of her birth clan to the impiis took a great toll on her but she did her best to hide it and continue to do her work, believing that most of her family was gone. When Fortis appeared and asked the Auster leader for help, Autem was already practically ready to go and set off with the rest of her clan to help the Reilo clan from the impiis. After the clans were forced to flee, Autem was going around and helping the remaining Ilearas patch everyone up when she met Faber among the wounded, she was overjoyed to see her younger brother again and they have been working together to help the new clan find it's feet.
