Amicus is funny and kind, she doesn't try to blend in or stand out and is just happy to be another face in the crowd. She has a strong attachment to those she cares for and considers even close friends family. She tends to be calm and understanding with those around her but expects that paitents follow what she tells them and she's not afraid to tell them such.

History

Amicus was born to incomitatus family, it was large made up of many generations and could have probobly been considered a small clan but her great, great, grandparents didn't like the idea of having Ascalabotes far away governing their way of life and so they lived in relative peace with the clans around them but made it clear they weren't going to join. Amicus was born after a brutal frost season and was the only survivor of her littler and was the apple of her parents eye. She was curious and always getting into trouble but she was the youngest and was dotted on regardless, however she learned that she would have to still pull her own weight as she grew up. She and her family would regularly visit the near by clans and she would play with the pups there while her parents, aunts, and uncles would trade or discuss altercations, it was around the clan's pups she started to feel that she was pretending to be someone she wasn't and would often ask her parents but they didn't have the answers she was looking for. It wasn't until her teen years that she was able to put into words how she really felt. Not identifying as one's birth gender is nothing new for the clans, it's very common especially for pups to shift between using pronouns for each other and only at adulthood do real gender identities come out but for a small close-nit family such as her own, Amicus found herself in unknown territory and for once no one could help her. They tried to support her the best they could, even getting help from the clan so they could better understand what she was going through but there still seemed to be a barrier between her and the family she once knew. Wanting to find answers, she decided to travel to the Reilo clan. Living in a clan was more complicated then she expected and she often found herself more outcast for not knowing traditions then for identifying as female but over time she learned and adapted. She didn't take the Ludicium her first eligible year, instead she traveled back home, her world better understood and the questions about herself answered however when she came to the familiar clearing she had spent many years growing up in under the watchful eyes of her family she found nothing but death. In the few years she had been gone impiis had pushed further into the near by clan's territory and slaughtered her family for being in the way. Amicus returned to the only place she still had support, the Reilo clan, and took the Ludicium the next year, earning the career of an ileara and devoting her life to keeping everyone around her safe, like she had failed to do with her family.
