Keeper of the Glades

Deep within a remote forest, there are no humans, no sign of civilization, and everything is wild. Here, in this secluded forest, lies the Keeper of the Glades - Kyorld.

Kjorld acts as a sort of guardian for all who live in the forest, vowing to protect each and every one of its inhabitants with its life if something catastrophic were to happen. Stories say the reason why the forest is so secretive is because of Kyorld's power, whom had created walls of large thorned bushes, poison ivy that can paralyse upon contact, and large patches of quicksand. This was all created with the sole purpose to keep out those who wished to do harm to its home. If somehow damage was done to it, this gigantic Perenio would carry all of the creatures and animals on its back and bring them to safety. However if it can't escape for whatever reason, Kyorld will valiently defend its home and people with terrace-ripping stomps, and fierce plant-based attacks.

Many creatures and Perenio who live in the forest praise Kyorld for its wisdom, protection, and - most notably - its power to heal. Located on its back, Kyorld has a mythical water source called the Pool of Life. As the name suggests, it can provide healing if drank or swam in. Even just a drop of this incredible water can heal a near dying Perenio back to perfect health. Unfortunately, the Pool of Life isn't just sought after by the Perenio of the forest. Some people, animals, and non-residential Perenio have also sought it out, but with malicious intents. Thankfully the forest's defenses that Kyorld made hundreds of years prior make it so that no outsider can reach it. So they only have tales of myth to keep their selfish minds occupied.

Woah, this took a while, but I'm glad how it turned out, nonetheless! This big boi was inspired by a video game I've been playing recently that has a lot of breathtaking visuals. One scene that stood out to me was the forest - full of bright yellow sunlight, glowing blue flowers, and amazingly tall trees, so I wanted to create a guardian of sorts that somewhat reflected that beauty and... here he is! The Keeper of the Glades! >w<
Oh also, I realized it looks a lot like Torterra from Pokemon. That was completely unintentional as I didn't realize until I was half done with the coloring. So... Torterra's larger cousin perhaps? >w<\?
