Breathes a sigh of relief ^o^ its so nice to do a painting for your self ones in a while, i've been toying with this concept for a few months now and I've even painted a few practices before diving into the final one, i also needed a big kick to try new brushes and textures and this was a great use of both.i love Shen's New design it suits her so much more then before.
and i have to admit i really like Green and this is one Green painting XD
i hope u guys like it and i hope theres more like this to come

why have i not faved this? seriously! im on crack or something. I love the mossiness in this picture and teh rain.. its so elegant and what a beautiful place. then ofcourse we have the most lovely shen being all beautiful! :3

I've been collecting brushes for years so i can't recall where i got every brush from but i do remember i got the foliage brush from here [link]
The brush i used for the moss and basically everything else was a dry rectangular brush it could be used as a blocking brush or a smoothing tool so i think i've fallen in love with it.
and a handy hint with rain is Less is more. i uses a thin oblong shaped brush here and put the settings onto scatter and quickly zipped my brush over the page at two different sized brushes, then i uses and star stamp brush and twinkled in some of those for more of an effect.
i hope thats helpful for you ^_^ no one teaches me this stuff i sortta make it up as i go along.

I really appreciate the reply. Yeah I just pretty much experiment with photoshop.
I used to use SAI but im trying to get away from it since Photoshop is more.. main stream?
