So... another fairy. I'm not a big fan of drawing fairies. In fact I typically go out of my way to avoid it but a lot of the time, this is what people ask me for and so time and time again I wind up drawing them. My dad's girlfriend wants to add on to her old flower tattoo and she asked me to draw this which is based off of one of the Disney fairies. I referenced it pretty heavily but still gave everything my own bit of flavor. I'd link to the reference picture but I can't find it online. It's in the latest calender if anyone is curious....Anyway, so I thought I'd go ahead and post it since I haven't posted anything in a while (I will soon, promise). Yup. So there you go.

I more or less picked the colors. They're sorta loosely based on the colors of the reference pic I used but I tweaked 'em more to my liking. I'm glad you like, though. Thanks for the compliments. I appreciate it.

This is a neat take on the disney fairies! Hehehe. I wouldn't even go as far to say that it's done in the Disney style, it's quite far from it! Bravo!
Gah, I know, fairies are so overdone... nnnghghgn. When I get a tattoo, I want like... something NEAT and that only *I* can be allowed to have! har har har!

Haha, thank you. I didn't want it to look like a Disney fairy because otherwise she could have just taken it to the tattoo artist and been like, "Here, I want this." There wouldn't have been much of a point for me.
I'm the same. When I get a tattoo I want something you can't just find in one of the flip books. Which is cool because it'll probably just be something I design myself.

Thank you, hon. Y'know it's funny cause I only spent about an hour and a half coloring this. I guess sometimes just intuition is the best way to color things.

That and deadlines. Like with the couple of commissions and art trades I've done, I get them done pretty fast and relatively well, but stuff for fun is like... why haven't I worked on it?

Ah, I know exactly what you mean. That's what I meant by the whole intuition thing because I had to get it done that night so everything I put down really had to count, barely used the undo button, and it turned out pretty nice. She actually got it done today. I'm probably gonna post a picture soon.
