In this case, this is what can, and will happen when four FA-70s from VFA-103A, outfitted for air-to-ground work find a company of enemy tanks. These Type-80 series tanks have no where to run, and no where to hide in this desert, and elect to scatter to get away from the diamonds of death hovering over them. However, one is temporarily spared by a dud that lands next to it.

well, these arn't your conventional paveways either. According to Bagera, they're packing thermobaric explosives... that should take out a couple tanks in one hit.

don't need pods. with the new Electro-Optical Targeting System (EOTS) being developed for the F-35 Lightning II, systems like Lantirn are integrated into the aircraft itself, thus doing away with the need to carry heavy, non-stealthy, and aerodynamic performance inhibiting pods.

yup. it also provides missile launch warning. don't know yet if it has the capability of acting as an infrared search and track (IRST) system though.

yes it can, so long as it has some sort of LOS to the target, it can light it.
