Maybe because they would need 2x the tank ammo and that would be expensive and take up a lot of room which could be used for gadgets and such.

I noticed that the tank's design is quite good. Sloped armor for thicker protection from piercing shots. The tracks are also shielded and that can prevent most shots from breaking the tracks, immobilizing it. I also noticed that this looks like a BUFFED UP M1 Abrams....

hey I found your work by chance from Concept Tanks, great stuff! Was this actually done straight from canvas? Judging by your work here the lines were pretty rough and rigid from closeup yet they retain its firm looks from far away... Damn concept arts are seriously amazing...

Actually I have an idea, why don't we use this for one of the Progenitor Tank units chassis's for the Progenitor Unit Art in the HW2GSBG mod. I could also spure of some over tanks from this.

I love the scale in this, the size of the tank compared to the man on top, imagine a 2 story tall tank taking up a whole street rolling down your road, if that's not intimidating I dunno what is.

if im going to base it on looks it would be challenger 2 1st, then the LeClerc, then the Leo2a6, then the abrams, the the merkava. they're all decent looking tanks, id like to see the leo ans leclerc in operational theatre.

keep the frogs out of this, please, and yes, I do have a personal thing against those frog-eating surrender-monkeys... the others, yeah, the Leo2A6 is a DAMN good tank, but I see the israeli job as more troop transport with a big gun than a tank, and I was even born there...

well the a5 looks pretty tidy but the a6 with the newer longer barrel and sloped turret plates do make it look lush, even better looking in arctic or UN paint. The Isaerlis had a good idea of minimising what to buy by making an MBT/APC hybrid more MBTS on the field that can turn into MBTs if need be and still have a massive amount of fire power. Maybe not the best tank in the world but still its got significance. But id climb into a challenger 2 any day, it just has the most accurate gun on the field and the best armour.

took 'em forever to nail Clarkson when they were running around with him though...

dont forget a range rover is lighter and more nimble then a challenger 2, plus its small enough to through thick woods but the challenger 2 did pop smoke, have thermals on and probably would have nailed it as it head straoght down the dirt track but that was more about performance. to say the range rover turbocharged v8 did 40mph over all that and weighing 1.5-2 tons the challenger 2 kept up with it really easily with it weiighing 62.5 tons. But it was about showing off the tank aswell as the 4x4, it was like i think it was a bugatti and a jump jet, to see who was the fastest lol or the apache and I think it was either a porshe 911 or a lambogini, they do like to show of cars but they like to boy little kids and play with big boys toys lol

i saw that though im not fond of the jackl or the jackal 2 at all, too open for me. All it takes is to ride into a valley or a grenade and thats it. but that eveo dod get a proper mushing lol .50 Cal did most of the work though.
