Acrylic on flat canvas board7" x 5"
I don't know why this turned out like it did. It started as a simple portrait of Our Lady Mary but the more I painted the more I saw Her as Our Lady of India so I went with that.
One of my dear Priest friends is from India and he's been an amazing support and encouragement in all my efforts...maybe that has something to do with it.

Very lovely! Are you familiar with Our Lady's apparitions in India? She is known there as "Our Lady of Good Health."

Hello darling lady...I did look up Our Lady of India and saw Our Lady of Good Health.....I didn't read about Her apparitions there and should do that. In my painting I really felt that She wanted the Indian people to know She was there for all of them.

Yes it sure is....especially when you didn't plan it one way in the beginning and then suddenly you see it as something else and the painting is doing it's own thing lol. Thank you for your comment
