Aaaand now ladies and gentlemen, one plushie that I've planned a while. I already made plushie MoA earlier and I intended to make Lusse as soon as find any suitable fabric...but I didn't found a thing until now June and piece by piece I sewed this together.¤ the character
¤ Measurements: 25 cm high when sitting (horns didn't count), ~40 cm from forehead to tailtip, wingspan ~50 cm (1 cm = 0.39370 inch)
¤ Materials: various textiles (polar fleece, basic cotton, "supersoft", faux fur, velvet), blue plastic eyes, stuffing (spherical polyester and plastic grains).
¤ Time taken: Not a single idea. But Lusse has over 90 separated textile piece, all cut and sewn by my own hands.

Last time I made plushie commissions the prices were something like this [link] ... Though nobody so far has dared to ask these more special ones (with better materials and more details and so on), I would gladly make one. But no hurry, at the moment I live elsewhere than my plushie making materials but I'll go back home in the end of July.

There is a club in my school that is called art club and we've worked on plushies once and i would like to know some tips on bird like plushies. Saw your other one and like that one this kawaii more than the other because i like white and blue great job especially since it is all done by hand.

Pala kerrallaan. Sisäpuolelta ja sitten käännän. Ja yleensä teen pään ensin kuntoon kaikkea muuta (tässäkin oli irtonainen pää pari viikkoa ennen vartaloa...). Yleensä se vaähän vaihtelee että missä järjestyksessä mitkäkin muut ruumiinosat tekee ja miten ne liittää kokonaisuudeksi (mun pehmojen tekotapa ei ole maailman loogisin eli hankala neuvoa mut ittellä toimii).
Kuvioiden kanssa kannattaa käyttää järkeä...ohuet kuviot kannattaa kirjailla tai maalata. Jos on iso erillinen väriläiskä kuten vaikka jalka niin sitten kannattaa tehdä suoraan siitä väristä. Jos on tällaiset kuviot kuten tässä niin jälkikäteen ommeltu...mut pitää olla purkaantumaton kangas tai ei luonaa. Fleece sopii siihen. Fleece on muutenkin mukava pehmojen tekoon koska löytyy eri väreissä, ei purkaannu, helppo ommella, halpaa...että jos oot aloittelija ja kiinnostais tehä pehmolelu niin osta fleeceä eikä sitä helposti purkaantuvaa ylikallista kangasta. x> ... Mä en oo enää ihan aloittelija mut fleece on silti se perusarvoinen pehmolelukangas.

niin joo.. :3 kiitos vinkistä! pitänee seuraavan kerran kaupungilla käydessä vilkuilla jotain fleeceä ja kokeilla vaikka jostain simppelistä koirapehmosta. (tosin miun kohdalla varmaan toimivin keino olisi vuolla ensin hahmo vaahtomuovista ja sen jälkeen liimata karvat päälle kun olen niin n00b ompelemisessa, muahaha...mutta pitänee kokeilla)
