Ever since the 90's, there is a game where you hold a ball and catch the creatures to put them into your National Dex. It was called Pocket Monsters in Japan and Pokemon in the US.

Like Digimon, this franchise has been a worldwide phenomenon with games, toys and cards being made to be the best selling game franchise in the whole universe.

In other hand, the fanbase has been pretty bad lately with a lot of controversy going on with Sword and Shield. There are a lot of things worse than that.

There is Rule 34 art of female trainers they love the most like Sonia and made some art of Pokemon being hot as a strong men when having sex. Yuck!

Does anyone remember the Pokemon Direct on 6/6/17? It was the MOST disappointing Nintendo direct you'll ever seen in life. No information have been confirmed and few things were announced in which people didn't like.

There was a app game called Pokemon GO! and it spread many incidents around the world like a person founding a death body on a lake (no, not that Logan Paul one), car crashes all over the streets, and a person being sent to jail for playing Pokemon GO! in church.

They based on some designs of Pokemon like how they bashed Poppilo design when the starters of Pokemon: Sun and Moon were announced, spreading hate arts on the internet. They also based the design of Ash in the Sun and Moon anime as well.

Does anyone remember the movie Pokémon the Movie: I Choose You!? There was that one scene when Ash is almost dying and Pikachu talks which make the audience surprises and complain about it. You have Pokemon talking in the Mystery Dungeon TV specials and don't you all remember watching them?

When the movie Pokémon Detective Pikachu came out, it was a nostalgia blast. Ryan Reynolds provide the voice of Pikachu and no one even complain about it. There was a hilarious petition for Danny DeVito to play Pikachu back in the days. Even they're doing the same for this trash god to play Wolverine in the Marvel Cinematic Universe X-Men movie! XD

Many people were bashing on new generations of Pokemon, referring themselves as Genwunners. This term has been used everywhere in on-going franchises of fanbases like My Little Pony, Transformers and many more.

They are very ignorant, uneducated, biased, and immature when it comes to the morphology of certain Pokémon creatures, refusing to except that zoology/morphology proves what a certain species of Pokémon is. When speaking of a certain Pokemon’s design origin or species, they completely ignore the zoology and morphology of a specific creature and insist that a certain Pokémon is a of a completely incorrect species, despite having no knowledge of the obvious traits that make the Pokémon what it truly is. They often start wars with fans who speak the truth about a certain Pokémon species, and become vicious if evidence is presented to them that disproves their opinion on what kind of animal a certain Pokémon is truly based on. (This appears to be an issue mainly centering on the Furry Fandom, which excessively worships foxes, wolves and other canines and fantasize that many Pokémon are of the canine/vulpine species, which is inaccurate, false, and based solely on bias, not science or reason.)

When they announced that Pokémon Sword & Shield won't Transfer that many Pokémon to the game, the fans snapped into anger & started to SPAM #BringBackNationalDex EVERYWHERE!! Literally! No matter where you go on anything related to Pokémon News, you'll see MILLIONS of those beggers! They dislike bombed the E3 gameplay of Pokémon Sword and Shield for not having the features they wanted. They threaten to murder people who work at Game Freak, just for removing Mega Evolution and the National Dex.

Don't judge a damn game by its cover, even when it's not out yet like when you guys based Sonic Forces and Super Smash Bros. Ultimate!

Remember when Mewtwo Strikes Back: Evolution, the 3D CGI remake was announced, people were hyped about it. But when the trailer came out, everyone started complaining about the designs. What's wrong with people on hating 2D characters being formatted to CGI like how the people bashed the 3D Disney Princesses in Ralph Breaks the Internet: Wreck-It Ralph 2 and complain about the live-action remakes they're being adapted too like Aladdin and The Lion King?

It's a Twist. Very Twisty.
