i actually find myself looking at the red liquid in the glass rather than at the top of the glass. the green shows up very vibrantly here.

Cool setup. In the small view, I thought I saw a fish in there. I think the dynamics of the wine make this a much better shot than if the wine had been level.

the guy has painted the grapes on the glass? he's got a stable hand

nice idea...so did you combine 2 pics or how did you get the upper part focused while the wine is moving...mm, maybe you stopped moving the glass and shot while the wine was still in move? ah, whatever, it puzzles me.

nice idea, probably promotes the glasses quite well (that's the idea right?), at least it's not dull

Very professional shot...Love the movement..
Like chich said: maybe a slightly faster shutter speed!? The moving wine would be a lil less blurred...
But still a very awesome capture..Good work..

Damn that's some fine work... did you get somebody to swirl the glass for you? Maybe if you used a slightly faster shutter speed... great shot nevertheless though.

great lighting in this photo. hmm how many lights in this? itd be hell on the glare but if u had lights from diff angles the defraction by the glass and the wine would make such a pretty sight. as is, the time-freeze of that wine in mid-wave is amazing. good capture as always kev

Now that is one sweet shot (no pun intended). Agree that the reflection needs to be there. Absolutely perfect bro.

I'm just trying to figure out how you managed to get the swirl photographed... Was someone doing the movement of the glass?

The reflections looked really good when the picture was minimised, but when the picture is bigger, it does become more distracting... And yeah, how did you fit in the grapes?

Definitely commercial-like...
Great composition and idea... However, i can't figure out where the grape vines came from... are they part of the glass or were they digitally added into th picture....

Well done!!!

Really nice shot. I know that some of the reflections are needed to define the glass, but those bright spots on the right are a tad distracting.

awsome lighting, but you are lossing a bit of seperation on the left hand side of the glass

Excellent shot! The motion of the swirl is caught perfectly, but there is no blurring of the glass at all, great work! The blend of the glass into the background is lit perfectly.

Geesh Kev, you know what I think of this! The reflection is needed, it helps give some depth to the goblet. If anything the reflection could be simpler and thats it.

I love the attention to detail... in this case, the bunch of grapes, which I probably wouldn't have caught. The colors are excellent, as is the lighting... I'm sorry I can't offer constructive criticism...!

Excellent work.

crazy. like the brunch is hanging mid air. that's the artist's skill, i imagine.

but the swirl and the lighting i think is great.

have you tried to not light the left edge on purpose?

In any case it is a fantastic photo.

however the reflection next to the grapes is a bit distracting
