Now let's say Africa was able to get an advantage over Europe for modernization. Instead of European Roman Empire, what about an African Carthage Empire that won the Second Punic War? What if Africa was able to developed basic medicine, basic mining, basic schools, and centralized governments, just before Europe?

Because Africa is much more rich in Natural Resources, they were able to come up quick and spread mighty empires.

This Map takes place in, what was for us, the mid Inter-War period. Now Because it's incomplete, these countries could be larger.

Also, I'm assuming that these countries didn't go to war, which is highly improbable, if not plain impossible.

So here it is, we Europeans are slaves!!! Because the point of deviation is over two thousand years ago, ethnicity are probably much more different, and also because I don't know the indigenous names of the areas back then, I can't call them by their true names. Instead I just call them by names of countries in our world, so here's the list:

'Senegal': (medium Yellow) Empire: Caribbean, North America (not shown), Central Europe (not Shown)

'Morocco': (dark green) Empire: Iberia, North America

'Algeria': (grape) Empire: Iberia

'Tunisia' ('Falling Carthage'): (brown) Empire: Italy, Central Europe

'Libya': (lime) Empire: Balkans, West Europe, Greece, East Europe, Anatolia

'Egypt': (maroon) Empire: Balkans, Greece, Anatolia, Middle East, South Nile

'Ethiopia': (muddy brown) Empire: Arabia, Euphrates River.

'Somalia': (plum) Empire: Arabia, Tigris, Persian Gulf, Iran, Central Asia

'Tanzania': (light green) Empire: South Sahara, Botswana area, south India

'Madagascar': (brown-green) Empire: Sri Lanka and South India

'Zulu': (Teal) Empire: Southern South America, Antarctica

'Angola': (pink) Empire: South America

'Congo': (tan) Empire: Amazon Basin and South America
