Description in 1904-05, the Russo Japanese war lasted in Manchuria and Korea. But in December of 1904, things changed dramatically...

In the original timeline, Russian ships accidentally fired on British Ships, thinking they were Japanese torpedo ships. Britain of course was mad at this, but only denied Russian Access to the Suez Canal. But, in this timeline, things are oh so much worse...

In this timeline, Britain does in fact declare war on Russia (along with the fact Britain was allied with Japan). France, an ally of both Russia and Britain, decided to side with Russia, and Germany, who was supporting Russia in their war with Japan, came to their aid, bringing along their allies of Austria-Hungary and Italy. And finally China, who had been supporting Japan in their war with Russia, joins the British, The world has been split between the Continental Powers and the Islander Powers

Things were at a grinding halt from the beginning. Britain is able to stop a Franco-German Fleet from crossing Calais, but it was hardly decisive. All the while British troops are unable to make it to mainland Europe, and so the war is fought mostly in Asia and Africa, as Britain tries to defend her colonies against the Germans, the French, and the Italians.

Meanwhile, in Manchuria, the Germans had arrived to aid the Russians against the joint Sino-Japanese force, dealing a huge blow to Japan in the Battle of Songyuan, pushing Japan back into Korea and Port Arthur.

And in the Pacific and Indian Oceans, The Franco-German Fleet is preparing for a strike against the Anglo-Japanese Fleet.

Britain and her allies are pinched in a corner now, and only a miracle can save the Islanders...
