Description
REVOLUTION!!! the year is 1800 and we have seen Revolution! Never before has there been such a war as The Revolution, a World War... I may have to post a second deviation of the Revolutionaries at their peak.
There is so much to tell in the last 50 years, but let us just say tensions boiled over, and as in the Balkan Crisis, Mexica had their own crisis going on.
Starting in 1720, the Mexica emperor was finally able to start asserting control over it's vassals, especially over the 'Petalers' (The vassals surrounding the Empire's direct land that threaten to invade if the Emperor doesn't do their bidding). The vassals aren't use to this kind of dominance, and grow sour to their emperor. Finally, in 1762, they declared war on the Emperor himself, starting the First Mexica Revolution. Unfortunately, the peasants used this as their own springboard to Revolution, the Second Mexica Revolution.
They quickly converted the Empire into Republic, the Mexica Republic. the Republic quickly forged an alliance, the 'Bitter Alliance' after their bitterness to their common enemies. This included the Mexica republic of course, and their rivalry with the Mayans and the Pomo (Traditional enemies, considering that the Pomo was the reason that Mexica shattered into the Holy Roman Empire); The Ming Dynasty of Asia, whom detested the growing influence of the Pomo and Anchorage over China, especially since Anchorage just convinced Chagatai to end trade with China in defense of their Mongol brothers of which Ming has been bullying; and Quebec, whom is angered by their recent loss of Quebecois Finland and Sweden to Nunavut, whom is stunning the world more and more.
So let the World War begin!
It all starts with the Mexica invasion of Pomo, followed by Ming assistance. Initially, both Ming and Mexica are celebrated as heroes, as liberators from their foreign or absolute rulers. After the fall of Pomo, the American part was taken by Mexica, and the Asian part completely by Ming.
Targeted next was Apache. While most of the world was distracted, Mississippi-Missouri and Anchorage were not. They both declared war on Mexica (Ming helped by going to war with Anchorage). Both Mississippi-Missouri and Apache were crushed at the battle of Brady, forcing Apache under Mexica rule as well. The Apache people weren't as pleased as the Pomo were, and had a continuing resistance. Ming was able to take a large chunk of the Anchorage empire, and the Capital of Anchorage (the city of Victoria, odd right?) was also put under the occupation of Mexica, thus forming Anchorage into a puppet. Meanwhile, a great general was forming from the Mexica army: Izta.
It was time to make the Second strike on Mississippi-Missouri. With the permission of Mishigamaa, Quebec crossed their territory to join the Mexica fight. Izta proved his worth again, turning Mississippi-Missouri, arguably the second most or even the most powerful country in the world up-to-this-point, into a vassal of Mexica.
The Maya couldn't turn a blind eye any longer. The Revolutionaries must be stopped. So they made the 'Sweet Alliance', as opposed to the Bitter Alliance; Maya, Swanee, Cherokee, Iroquois, Cree and Nunavut all made up this alliance, and in 1776, war began again.
Swanee and Cherokee were the first to fall, ending up in Mexica control. Iroquois and Cree would fall to Quebec, finally gaining something from the war. But Maya and Nunavut refused to fall. in the Spring of 1781, Izta made the fatal choice in the war: The Invasion of Nunavut.
Izta led an army of 75,000 into Nunavut. But Izta miscalculated Nunavut's strength, by a lot. He didn't take into account the resistance that Nunavut would put up, he didn't put into account their technology, and most importantly, he didn't take into account Nunavut's superior strategy. Nunavut was able to make 'Steam bombs' made from their steam engines that they had invented recently. The already half-melted bays fully melted, taking half the Mexica army with it and delaying them. By Winter's set Izta ordered a retreat, but Nunavut's sled-dog army was able to out pace the Mexica foot-soldiers. Trapping Izta and his army on the ice over Hudson Bay for all of winter, the Nunavut were able to do a crude execution of Izta during Spring's melt.
Nunavut had turned the tides, and roared their army through all of America, liberating it all. But the Mexica Republic raised another army, which was worse in every way: Worse in numbers, worse in equipment, worse in strategy, so on. The army Mexica raised could only be used for guerrilla warfare, but Mexica sent the army out anyways. The army would be destroyed at the battle of Saint-Louis. Mexica had lost.
As part of the agreement, Mexica was to cede virtually all the territory taken during the wars, only a small chunk of Pomo they took stayed with them, along with all of Mayan-settled areas. Similar things with Quebec. Initially, all of Mexica was to become one empire again, but Mexica was destabilizing to fast, so four monarchies were to be created: Aztec, Zapotec, Panamanian, and Inca. All four of these would be republics within a decade.
Ming would be defeated in 1794. The Ming Dynasty would be overthrown for the Wai dynasty (Wai being short of Guowai, meaning foreign.) The Wai dynasty would virtually be the puppet of Pomo and Anchorage.
A lot of repercussions happened because of this World War: Pomo became much more centralized, Maya loses almost all of it's colonies (The Pomay finally had enough and helped their Spanish and Portuguese brothers to independence), the Industrial Revolution, and Nunavut become the accepted most powerful state in the World.
With the World War at an end and the Industrial Revolution at it's beginning, and Nunavut being the Crown of the World, time can only tell what will happen next...
