Nope. Its works. I have a WWI version and a 1920's bolo. Both shoot 7.62x25 ammo. I get my ammo from Bulgaria.

yes, and it is actually quite an ingeniuous mechanism once you understand how it all works, I think I saw a video on youtube once that explained it as if it was a instructional video for american soldiers should they encounter one in the field, very educational.

A lot of that was to make them blend into the predominantly brown scenes in the game too, since we don't use actual reflections in game so it isn't easy to keep everything from being garish.

yeah, the problem is obviously that when you first make assets you make it look as good as possible, but when everything comes together you realise you don't have enough space so you have go back in and optimize it all, which frequenctly means dropping things that is not necessary.
