the nickname 'chicago typewriter' comes from its heavy use by alcohol smugglers during the prohibition era, and was equally popular with law-enforcement as with criminals

for a game I worked on several years ago, 'Call of Cthulhu- dark corners of the Earth'

PS this version also has the anachronistic 'Cutts compressor' which dampens recoil, a late feature.
