Description "I felt the touch of the kings and the breath of the wind,
I knew the call of all the songbirds,
They sang all the wrong words,
I'm waiting for you,
I'm waiting for you."
 - Johnny Flynn, composer of the Detectorists theme song

Hi everyone,

Upon hearing of a Detectorists Christmas special this year it reminded me of a picture that I drew years ago and thought it'd be a nice idea to publish it in response. It's a relaxing program which in this fast paced day and age is very much needed.

As this was often on in the background and one of my favourite game series growing up was Mega Man, it didn't take long for little me to come up with this idea. Once I discovered Pharaoh Man was built to be an archeologist, this was a concept that I couldn't ignore. My headcannon for him was that in his free time he would do metal detecting.

Casual disclaimer: The song was written by Johnny Flynn, Detectorists is written by Mackenzie Crook and Pharaoh Man belongs to Capcom. I don't own any of these.

See you soon,
