Hi everyone,

Hope you're having a great new year. A lot of people I know have been hoping that this year is a lot more peaceful than last, so I thought it'd be a nice idea to post something with a peaceful atmosphere, in case any of you are feeling the same way.

A little background about the origami pieces in this sketch: some of them originated in Japan, like the Cranes which is said that those who fold 1000 of them are granted a wish (This was because the cranes are symbols of long life and believed to live for that amount of years). The Pajarito is Spanish, translating into little bird. I'm not sure where the frog (in his hands) came from, but considering the links to ninjas and frogs I also headcannon that they're one of the animals he feels most connected to. I used these as they're mostly things that I made during a GCSE art project.

I have a headcannon that one of the ways Shadow Man spends his free time is doing origami. To the extent where he turnded his room into an origami exhibit of some sort, even creating the huge swan in the background (in the same mindset as those shurikens he uses which are about the same size as him). He finds his hobby soothing as it takes his mind off anything that might be bothering him. His pet Croaker also looks very happy to be there, watching the fish.
