I admit it. I am a sentimental fool.One day, this trait will prove to be hazardous to my health.
I watched the newest PV from Versailles Philharmoic Quintet (Quartet?) about two weeks back. Perhaps it's because I am a sentimental fool, I've always had a mental scene built from this simple word "Serenade". There is a call-and-answer; a form of romantic courtship that's associated with this word which makes it a heavy-weight in spite of the style of music it usually represents. A serenade is a love song, but it's more than just a simple love song. It's a song that calls.
In this case, we've called. Those of us whom you've left behind are calling out to you. Do you hear us where you are, Jasmine You-san?

Well... if you want to learn these songs, why not learn both? Why contraint yourself to just one of them?

I sang in a choir when I was in university, too. (I also sang briefly in a choir in my present school, but it disbanded after the choirmaster left).
Ah, I see. Well... in your case, I would say it's a tough toss up. These two songs are similar in difficulty (when it come to singing). If I may be so selfish, I'd say Serenade over Sympathia. But that's just me being selfish, of course.

Hmm . . . I'm thinking Serenade, too. I think it would be harder, but I love a challenge! I love the high notes in it, too. I'm good at high notes! ^_^ They've always been my strength. I just wish Versailles had instrumentals for their songs so I could sing without Kamijo. I can only find one for The Revenant Choir.

... I am sure things like that can be done through a webcam, but I will have to decline. I am entirely too chicken to do something like that. Hey, I sing in a choir for a reason, right? I would have at least 40, 50 people around me at the same time so I don't have to stand out, no?
You're absolutely right, Serenade would be a more difficult song of the two. As someone who'd never been great with high notes, it's going to be pretty difficult for me, to be sure. Therefore... I must wish you the best of luck on this venture. Defintely keep me in the loop when you are done. I'd love to hear the result.
Hmm... Versailles had never released any instrumentals for their songs. The only exception is, indeed, Revenant Choir. I am afraid you'll have to sing along with Kamijo for the next while yet.

I'm not sure about that, either. I read in an interview a while back that he was proud of his lyrics, but believed he needed a lot of work on his voice.
