Trying out the new tiny pen I got
Size is A4.Again a little obsessiveness on display, haha. Aiming for some symmetry and then going off on little asymmetrical tangents, balancing them out later in various ways (hence the title). I was imagining the different levels spinning around in different directions and at different speeds.
Still loving Victoriana. I guess it can be viewed alongside my other work "Mark of Ornament" as a continuation of that theme. However, it's like a logical next step with some steampunky and time-themed imagery in this one....clocky...hand things...cogs and gears etc.
Anyway, I'm pretty happy with it for what it is - hope you like it too!

Thanks man. Yeah, tell me about it - I can design my own tattoos but I don't trust anybody to do a good enough job on it. I don't know how I could go on if I had a wonky line on my arm...forever. Haha.

Yeah, I hear ya. Well, just remember, it's probably very hard to draw perfect lines with a vibrating pen that is cutting into flesh. Even with tracing, it's pretty much a "get it right the first time or never" thing. Ppl probably won't judge your tat nearly as hard as you will. They'll probably think its super cool, even if it has minor imperfections here and there. That's been my experiences with it anyway.

Haha. Yeah I guess so. It's kind of the nature of the whole thing too - the fact that it's done by a human on the spot. I wonder if in the future, machines that essentially "print" designs onto your skin will take over tattooists. Do you have any tattoos?
