Description Trying out the new tiny pen I got Size is A4.

Again a little obsessiveness on display, haha. Aiming for some symmetry and then going off on little asymmetrical tangents, balancing them out later in various ways (hence the title). I was imagining the different levels spinning around in different directions and at different speeds.

Still loving Victoriana. I guess it can be viewed alongside my other work "Mark of Ornament" as a continuation of that theme. However, it's like a logical next step with some steampunky and time-themed imagery in this one....clocky...hand things...cogs and gears etc.

Anyway, I'm pretty happy with it for what it is - hope you like it too!

Thanks I think the most important things are patience, a steady hand and not repeating yourself. other than that it doesn't really require amazing skill!

Thanks Riannon! Yeah the paper is really cool. It's probably more subtle in real life though - the stripes are actually formed due to different weights in the paper.

beautiful work, all the fine detail is astonishing. The small view almost looks like a computer graphic, but the large format reveals the imperfections of hand which are in this case very beautiful. <3 love it
