I love conceptual art, pure form and minimalist design. But there's nothing wrong with purely aesthetic and decorative art every now and then, haha. I'm thoroughly guilty of it.I'm a fan of Victorian-era ornamentalism. Those ridiculously elaborate patterns and motifs...they're so overwhelming and grandiose. I wanted this to look very handmade, in the way those decorations look carved and polished by real craftspeople. One day I'll carve it out of solid gold or something I guess.
So yes, this is my own spin on Victorian ornamentalism, hope you like!

Thanks! I'm not sure exactly what the paper was made with, but it was handmade by my aunt. The pen is just a regular Artline fine (0.4) felt tip pen

Yeah! I do have an interest in baroque stuff, especially the architecture. It's so beautiful and overwhelming. Sometimes it's so ridiculous though, you just have to laugh
