I'd like to see someone do a better Pony Creator with plenty of stuff in it. Also, I want to see an Equestria Girls character creator as well, I want to bring my OCs (the Breeze Sisters, Passion and Sparkle, Orange Crusher and Fiberia Optica (one of Passion's BFFs)) into their human forms.

but they make cute adopables. you also dont have to use the colours they give you, just make them lighter and design your own mane and tail and there you have it

I like playing with the Pony creator but its not for showing off your OCs with. To me, its more on getting a general idea of how you want them to look, because I always drew my OCs myself on my old account.

The point here wasn't that the creator is bad, but if you were looking to learn how to draw ponies as they are in the show; don't use it as a reference. It's still a good resource for drafting OCs and testing poses (I myself have done some animations using it's poser for a Youtube video). In fact, if I was interested in learning to draw ponies, I WOULD use it as a starting point. The comparison above shows a drastic difference in quality, yes, but I wouldn't hope to think that I could start out as smooth as the Hashbro Fluttershy (right), and would definitely get to the rugged point the Creator has reached before improving to "master quality", so to speak.
A last note: The creator allows the movement of the Iris; so a centered eye can be fixed (to a degree).Β

that's actually really mean. Plus the guy who made pony creator has a devaintART account. It's hard to make a pony creator that hard without messing up. This picture was ok, and not mean because this person WASN'T saying bad things about the game. Just making points because, is true. People use pony creator WAY to much for, like, every pony related thing they do and that's annoying

Well, I already knew the difference, although the Pony Creator is used by users who have no knowledge of vectorization or at least advanced knowledge vectorizacion, so the Pony Creator can be very useful for them, besides this if an amateur user can make an OC Pony Creator and have a model of your OC, that then can place an order any user deviantart and so to vectorize this OC to make it look a bit more like a character this series.
Remember there will always be users who can not vectorize and this is a situation dimensioned according to the program......

If I want to color my oc, how do I know what colors to use? Like shadows and the body and mane lines?

Generally, if you have an OC with light in the mane color is placed Dark colors in her hair, but the same color, for example a color light brown in the horsehair with dark brown in the hair or dark orange comes in handy, but you just have to watch the TV series and see the detail in the characters, it's just a matter of knowing a way to combine colors, the colors close in hue are usually the most convenient, although not the rule, if it is generally not so.
