I think centaur and anthropomorphic art scored the lowest on my poll of art people wanted to see from me so...here is a piece with a centaur and an anthropomorphic character? Ha, well muse is muse and these guys have it right now. Had to stick this one away for a couple weeks while I chewed on how to finish coloring it. So here we go! Cernunnos and Danu, my original characters.Related content

I love seeing art of these two. Its interesting to think if he is pulling her down or she is about to pull him up hehehe. Id love to know more about them - and if they have links to the original gods whom they are named after

Thank you! I didn't want to "explain" too much in the description, kinda was interested how others might interpret it on their own some too what action was happening here. But yeah, was supposed to be her pulling him up, wanted it to be a bit of an unexpected turn in what might be expected of them! I did used to have a blog up with more information about them. Took it down because of some issues but maybe I'll get that back up again eventually. Also, yes they do have their roots in the mythology behind those Gods for which they are named, with plenty of my own twists added of course.

This is great!! I love the motion of the centaur's frame. It really looks like he's stretching far. Loving the anatomy in this and the wings are *sing song voice* amaaaaazing. All those little details are wicked like in the lighting in the fur, the markings and hair. Awesome piece! Very stirring.
