Mothra is one of the earth's first guardian kaiju. Alongside her brother Battra, the two protected it from anything that would threaten it; including King Ghidorah in the prehistoric past. However, when humanity came into the picture, Mothra and Battra had a bit of a falling out. Mothra believes that, while humans are flawed, they are worth fighting for. Needless to say, Battra doesn't feel the same. Mothra first appeared to the modern world in 1960, when Clark Nelson kidnapped the Shobijin, two doll-sized girls who speak and carry messages for the guardian moth. Mothra eventually reclaimed the girls, with the help of a few Japanese (including Prof. Cujo) and returned to Infant Island. However in 2016, a old threat returnes, and Mothra must call upon all the help she can get to face it.

Combat Style: Mothra is a determined and tenacious foe. She attacks from distance, striking her enemy with her antenna blasts and silk spray. Very agile, Mothra strives to avoid her enemy's attacks by executing last-minute dodges and weaves while in flight. She will employ her reflective screen upon any land-based foe, negating any beam attack with her screen of pollen-like scales. Mothra is wise enough to know when to cut and run, knowing that to survive means that victory may occur in the next encounter.
