Description A female grey seal 'flippers' (lightly rubs the pup's back with her fore flippers) her pup to try and encourage it to suckle. Mums only stay with their pups for 2 weeks before weaning them, so every minute of suckling counts if the pup is to survive.

yes I like shots like this too, showing the behaviours of the animals especially mothers/pups which is what my research specialises in
