every mermay i go "hm, maybe i should post about my mermaid series" and then i dont lmao here's a crumb tho

ive been waiting to post this bc i wanted to finish writing the chapter that goes with BUT i drew this two years ago soooooo no more waiting lol here's a rundown of the story:

chaiyo and prince abidan had their first date, it went gr8 and they make plans for another one. chaiyo likes long strolls in the underwater forest and takes prince abidan to his favorite spot, but oh no, somebody's watching them. they start following the couple and they chase the two right into the sticky seaweed thicket. chaiyo doesn't see who was following them, theyre gone now, but he and his date are tangled in a new problem. luckily chaiyo's a wildlife expert and knows the trick to getting out of this: he's gotta BITE through it. it's tough and bitter, but chaiyo manages to free himself and his new bf. the end

btw chaiyo and some of my other merms got a slight redesign, havent gotten the chance to show yall but they have claws n stuff now
