Ahaha! I did finish a picture in time for Christmas!Has anyone seen this movie? It's Rankin-Bass' "Jack Frost", which was done in stop motion, like their other films about Rudolph, Santa, Frosty, etc.
Wikipedia summary: "Jack Frost, an immortal winter sprite, falls in love with a human girl named Elisa, and asks Father Winter if he can become human in order to be with her. Father Winter gives him a chance, but warns that Jack must prove he can succeed as a human, by earning a house, a horse, a bag of gold, and a wife by the first sign of spring; if not, he will become a sprite again."
Anyways, it's one of my childhood favorites, and I've wanted to draw something for it for quite a while. So I watched it the other day, armed with pencil, paper, and determination.
Itβs just so romantic. I love Jack. I think everyone does. I was always like, ELISA, you fool! Marry Jack!

Yeah, me, too. One alternate ending could/should be: It should have ended with Elisa choosing Jack (but he was keeping Kubla away), and Jack becomes half-human, half frost-- For Spring, Summer, and Autumn, he would be just Jack. He confesses this to Elisa, and she accepts him, and marries him. During the winter months, he returns to Father Winter as the spirit, Jack Frost. He does his duties until winter is up, then becomes human again to return to his wife, Elisa. Oh, and Sir what's his name? She reconsiders her engagement. She must find her friend first, because maybe she has feelings for Jack, and maybe just because... he is really jack frost.

This is my favorite Christmas movie. It's the movie that made me fall in love with Jack Frost. I always thought Elisa was a such an idiot for not marrying Jack. So I know how you feel. I'm really glad you made such a beautiful picture for such a wonderful movie. I always feels it gets forgotten in all the Christmas movies about Santa out there.

Thanks!! The nice thing about this movie is that it works for Christmas, but also all through winter into spring. At least, that's what I tell myself when I forget to watch it for Christmas XD

Also I am writing a Untold story about Jack Frost not the Jack Frost from ROTG or this movie or from the Fairy Tails but the guy who that expression is named after because that name had to come from someone so I am writing a Untold story about who it is.
