Description
The creamy dawn clouds still coddled the overcast morning sky when the pair reached the lookout - Rory's pink cheeks stinging from the icy bite in the mountain air. She draws Berry's reins into her grip, very slightly, and the mare obeys the gentle touch of the woman's hand and comes to a halt. Birds chirp, their cheerful songs echoing around the valley, seemingly fuller for the natural acoustics. Rory dismounts smoothly, planting her stance on the grey soil, and indulging in a broad stretch before unfastening her helmet and kicking off her riding boots and socks to scramble up the rocky lookout on all fours. The bare skin of her feet is numbed by the cool stone, but she quite enjoys the feeling, and she is soon settled down on the edge of the enormous outcrop in her usual spot. She smiles as she looks over the pretty valley scenery, and takes a deep breath of the crisp, chilly air, letting it fill her lungs to the brim. This is her favourite peaceful place, where she could just sit and think. The young woman is soon lost in thought, eyes meandering lazily over the hilly bushland below, hardly even noticing the stealthy mare that slinks up the rocks behind her to share the view.

I forgot the reins Oopsie - oh well, just a nice scene of Rory and Snowberry. Not much to see here, just a quaint slice of life

No reference at all for the horse or tack, some references used for the background and the pose of the human (fie to people, they are hard to draw, but at least I successfully captured Rory's gangly figure this time). I hope you enjoy looking, I really enjoyed making this piece.
