Changed Ravel's outfit, Luuk's sizeChanged Sage's eye color, name--also simplified some of the shading
Changed Ladle's face, Slai's hair, Ravel's pants
Someday I'll actually draw their staff things
Also, eye size worries

Sorta just a personal project between ~Spatty and I.
We started a story about five or so years ago, but it was lame so we're totally revamping it and making it worthwhile.
The plan is to make a graphic novel, but we both have hesitant personalities so who knows if it'll ever happen

I absolutely love the way you draw human characters. They're realistic enough to look believable, but have enough of a fantasy-like charm to make them just plain lovable.

That makes me feel more confident, cuz that's always been my goal for this style--a balance of realism and cartoony to give off a certain charm. Cuz personally it's hard for me to relate to realistically drawn characters, but sometimes cartoony characters can be caricatured to a point where they're not relatable either. I'm really happy you'd call them lovable!

I know exactly what you mean. It's a delicate balance of realism/fantasy. If a character is "too real" then they might not be any fun. But with just the right amount of fantasy-charm, you can get lovable characters that people can still feel sympathy for.

I still say that Murmoose is my fav, but for some reaosn I love Ravel's color scheme. Possibly because he has cold and pale colors which are my favs ^^

I love cool colors too~ I still don't know though, Ravel's still not quite right to me, but ~Spatty thinks he's fine so I have no idea what I'd even alter anymore

Well he looks awesome to me, but probably if you add more it can affect in a good or bad way the character, depends in what you take or put xD I don't know if I explain it myself

I think the best decision here is just let him how he looks now and later on you'll find inspiration or an idea will fall on you from the skies and you'll know what to do with him

Love how they are quite different from each other, I mean they don't share the same body structure, also the colors, soothing combinations that are a delight to view, bravo indeed hope to see more of their world!

Ahhh, there they are~ This is a useful thing.
I like it that you included Luk's silhouette, but it's so hard to see... maybe you should darken it a bit more. And maybe behind Slavel, you could put a silhouette of a ramaloo, kinda to compare in size to the warlers.

I considered including a ramalloo silhouette, but then I thought maybe that'd look too silly... especially since it'd be behind the sea wolves instead of the Aheyans lol
