And scanners are douchebags. Mine was for the 5 years I had it. It fucked up the colors and detail of everything.
Also, I read your convo with Justine. And I agree on the Animal Planet wtfness. What happened to the shows about animals and education? Why do you want me to watch a show about midgets with pit bulls (tlc worthy. everything on tlc has midgets these days), a hick with a dog truck, a hick with a dog sanctuary, cowboys and how ranches are dying, animal hoarders and their issues? WHY IS IT ALL ABOUT PEOPLE?

Steve and I refer to TLC as "The Little Channel". I know it's totally un PC, but, seriously. That's all it is. And for real, Pit Boss annoys the life out of me. I love the breed, don't get me wrong, but all the shows are about pit bulls, or the people who rescue them. I've discovered that Discovery channel is actually doing more of the oldschool animal planet stuff, and they actually have their own Discovery Channel channel specifically for animal shows. it's pretty awesome.

And shark week is the best. I don't want TV at all, actually, UNTIL it's shark week.
But that's just because I'm a nerd and I'm also mildly disappointed with the direction Animal Planet is taking with their TV shows, so that really leaves me out of other nerdy options.

And I stopped watching it when they changed they're logo to "surprisingly human". Since then, their shows just HAVENT been about the animals, and it bugs me.
If I wanted to watch a show about the over-dramaticized and intimate lives of people, I'd watch TLC. xP

Yeah that "surprisingly human" shit is weird. And yeah--it hasn't really been about the animals but people's relationship with animals. If I wanted to watch more human shit then I would. Bah. (I am leaving this here even though it's a repeat of your last statement because I didn't read the last sentence until I typed it. I thought it was funny that we essentially said the sameish thing.)
