Description Some much needed marker practice.
The yellow and blue one is NOT my character, it is a design concept thought up by .

I just loved the character so much I felt like doodling it up. :}

I see all these people improving and here I come back shitty as ever from a near year on no art. Beh.

You reeeeally need to be less hard on yourself. I adore your style. Those heads? Nobody else I've seen does heads that...realistic and yet not. Those noses totally remind me of the Shiloh Shepherd I used to puppysit.

I love your style. Grow at your own pace, not at someone else's.

Haha omg those markings absolutely look fantastic when redrawn, AND you did a friggin' -amazing- job pulling them off in markers, it couldn't have been easy! And of course, Roko looks absolutely perfect, as always. That is one character design I have ALWAYS been jealous of x)

AND! AND! I just realized I haven't re-watched you yet, but I am doing so immediately!

I've been wanting to come up with a blue and yellow character scheme for awhile, but I've always been timid of yellow.
But when I saw that design I jumped at the chance for some practice, lol.

I color mostly with colored pencil, but my marker work completely sucks! I can't get it to look very smooth.

What brand of markers do you use? I really like the way markers look, but I only have crappy markers

Yeah I'm a colored pencil kid myself.
But like you, I'm in LOVE with markers.

One of my favorite marker artists would definitely have to be .
I can only hope to someday manipulate ink like she can, lol.

And I use fibracolor. They're great, if you can use them. but i can't. I cant ever get mine smooth either. It's always streaky or blotched. D:

Oh wow, her marker work is incredible, it is so smooth!

Ya, my marker stuff always turns out very streaky It gets to the point I can't even tell what the lineart looks like.

Cool, I'll have to check out fibracolors and see how they work for me! I've used copics before at a friends house and they are amazing, but unfortunately they are very expensive.

Thanks for the reply! I'm now motivated to start experimenting with markers again it seems. And thanks for telling me about seppenator's art!
