I FINALLY read the book. Erik's occasional fascination with spiders made me cringe. Oh, I could give Erik a run for his opinion and money about spiders! I don't like the devils myself for darn good reason! I would LOVE to see Erik's face as I tell him my reason why I fear them and wish them dead! Having been bitten by a Brown Recluse two separate times and endured 2 weeks of living hell feeling like I was dying each time I was bit... yes, Erik.. there is darn good reason to fear spiders! Perhaps not all, but there is still a darn good reason! KEEP THE SPAWNS OF THE DEVIL AWAY FROM ME!!! I care not what he does with them, but if I see them I will most definitely be terrified and kill them mercilessly, the ones I loathe most that is.
You did a good job drawing this scene.

I love this part of the book. christine is a bit, only a bit stupid Β‘It is only a little spider!! (well, If I see a big spider I will screm thougth... xD)But.. poor Erik, he fell identified with the description of christine.

poor christine, i have to empathize with her. im better about spiders but i still harbor a BAD fear of tarantulas. if erik liked tarantulas...yeah i cant even look at a picture of them without gasping

One of my favorite parts in the book! I felt so bad for Erik. I have never been able to kill a spider so I can relate. I love how you put the memoir for Sasha on the wall. Excellent work!

Beautiful! This scene was one of the best in the book for me, Erik-wise. I felt so bad for him. As much as spiders scare me, I've never been able to bring myself to kill them, and after reading Phantom every spider I see reminds me of Erik. Good job!

LOL. That would be my reaction, too. That's a frickin' huge spider! Hehe, Ayesha's gonna pounce. It's so funny when cats attack creepy-crawlies.
I like how you used a variety of dark colors for the shadows rather than just a flat black--gives it more dimension. Ayesha's pose is very realistic--reminds me of my own cats. Christine's nightgown is well-done, too--you made it diaphanous, but not completely transparent.

Aw i love the painting of Sasha over Christine's bed. I sadly understand Erik's side my whole family kills spiders mercilessly. I am the one who ends up saving them. Poor spider poor Erik. I love Ayesha though if she is anything like my Ayesha she'd kill the spider for Christine in a sec. Very awesome as always.
