Christine's Wishing Gown was so much fun to draw. You all know my aversion to backgrounds, so you can just pretend that behind them is the cemetery where her father is buried. They brought Charles there to 'meet his grandfather' and see Mama Valerius before the old woman passes away, and it's probably the tail end of winter, hence the cloaks.

In my headcanon, Christine's Wishing Gown was just your run-of-the-mill dress, but it was one of the few darkly-colored gowns she had and therefore the one she always wore to her father's grave, since it was also one of the nicest she had. Erik's always in dark clothes.

And Charles is cute.

Hell, so are his parents.

Precious babies.
