Copypasta from blog:After I was done drawing I used so many filters and textures and adjustments on this it’s ridiculous. I must be colorblind. Also I did this with an arm full of vaccine shots. Can’t recommend that.

I've never really understood the sex-kitten thing a lot of people seem to do with GLaDOS. After playing the games, I walked away with the impression of an older, sarcastic and manipulative character. A kind of passive-aggressive sociopathic secretary.

AHahah, those feathers are the perfect touch, right along with her expression.
Very nice work. I love the metallics going on with her skin (I suppose it's skin?) and her hair. The subdued tones also work great, reminding me of the lower levels of Aperture without actually depicting them.
My only real nitpick is her nose seems a little too wide, but it's such a minor nitpick....*sniffs the air for neurotoxin*...I'll be going now.

This amazing. I especially like her mouth... it just looks like that scary smile was cut into her face that way. SCARY THIN-LIPPED SMILE OF VILLAINY.

I would be freaked out something fierce if GLaDOS appeared like this in the first Portal, really. She looks really scary, in a calm insane way.
I'll have to check out Makani's version too - but whatever it looks like, this itself is absolutely amazing. I love the eyes the most - and her hands are fantastic (from an artistic point of view) - really looks like she'd crushed those feathers with much gusto, and it shows in the fingers.
ANYWAY, favouriting now.

the hand that is in front...it looks like the thumb is visible, which makes the hand not look like it's resting on her arm. remove that thumb shape and i think it would work better!
