Description So I was THIS close to finishing the next Castle Cousland page when I stumbled across this prompt on Endling's tumblr:

endling.tumblr.com/post/210374…

So naturally I dropped everything I was doing and rallied all my art buddies on facebook and now we're all drawing doofy pictures of ourselves as video game characters at 2am.  As you can see I've got my daughter in a baby carrier, because SOMEONE has to watch the baby.

I haven't been playing a lot of video games because of the work I've been trying to get done (and I'm saving myself for DA:I) but the last game I started playing was  Ico.  Haven't gotten very far, but I'm excited to get back into it.

This is a great prompt.  Drop everything, do it now.  And link your picture if you do. I wanna see

I love this! I just had my third child and this made me giggle lol. I haven't had much time for art and video games either as of late lol

A baby boy. We have a complete family now lol. Identical twins girls (8) and our new baby boy.

Can't wait till his sleeping schedule isn't so funtastic lol.

Here's some mom to mom advice. Planning on having more kids? Wait till your baby is about 4 or 5 to do so. That way there they can entertain themselves and more or less help out with new baby. My girls are a big help, I can't imagine having done this when they were toddlers.

But, I'm sure once baby is all set on a longer schedule I'll get more done. For now, I have to enjoy all the gorgeous art that people like yourself and others pump out.

Keep on Keeping on!

Lol, that newborn sleep schedule is something else.  Every once in a while my little one has a bad growth spurt/teething/mystery discomfort night and I get flash backs.

I think we would put a little age distance between our future kids except for my age.  I'm not too old by any means, but I know that if I waited that long I would be in the "danger zone" and I would be more stressed by that anyway.  I think we're just going to jump in the deep end and warn people not to do what we did! Haha.  Although you starting with twins, I don't know how I would handle that at all the first time around!  Seriously!  How do you handle the newborn stage with twins??  Do they wake up together?  You are a super mommy.  But it is important for me that the kids help out as they grow up.  We'll just have to tough it out during those early years.

Do your girls like to do art?  I'm so excited to see my little girl's personality start to really come out and find out what she enjoys doing.

My girls are called MonoMono twins. They were in the same sack, so they had the same DNA and stuff like that when they were born. Having twins made somethings really easy. Like lying them together for a nap up until they were 8 months. They would only sleep really well when the other one was near by or in the same bed.

They loved sleeping, so I was realllllly lucky. I had them on different schedules of an hour apart. So twin A would wake up, I'd feed, change her, rock her to sleep just in time to do the same with twin B. lol

I was able to do way more house stuff with twins, because they kept each other busy and always had some one to look at. I find it a little challenging with one baby, because he needs someone to entertain him when he's awake.

But yes, both my girls love art. I was apprenticing a while back to do tattoos, I now do them from home. Everything is up to code btw lol. And my girls love to watch the process some times of how a sketch becomes a drawing to anything else I do with it.

Art is their strongest class in school. They love crafts too just like mommy.

Also, my girls are french and english, not to mention that they also have a twin language that they still speak lol.

I was 22 when I had my girls and 31 now. But we are done. Things are fixed wink wink. No more babies after our little guy lol

I never thought about how the little ones would entertain each other when they got old enough!  It's so funny now that my daughter is old enough to crawl around and she still comes to find me if I'm walking around or working on the other side of the room. It's so sweet, but she does require a lot of my attention. I have to do most of my artwork after she goes to bed, so I'm still a terrible night owl.

And that twin language is so neat!  Do you understand any of it?

I've never heard of anyone tattooing out of their home!  I know a couple of gals from school that are working in tattoo shops now.  I always keep an eye out for interesting art to share.  I've really loved some of the watercolor style that I've seen.   It's got to be so fun to be able to do what you love and inspire your kids at the same time.

Nope I don't understand a word of the twin language lol. Sounds like Alien garble to me lol

Tattooing out of your home in Canada is legal, as long as you're properly set up for it and have training. Which I have both.

The only time the girls watch me tattoo though is when I tattoo my husband. Other then that, they are not aloud in the are where I'm tattooing. Which is in a different area of my home. But yes, it's neat. Just wish I had more time. I'm sure I will once my little dude sleeps more and more.
