Aww, this is so sweet!

I really like how you've caught her in her small hole she's made there... to keep herself warm and all. That's just such an amazing thing, I think.

Anyway, the focusing is good and I like the framing and the way you've caught this in a portrait. It's quite effective, and it's awesome how the colours complement each other to present a more united front.

Having said that.. it feels a bit dark? =/

But other than that, it's not bad.

Yes, she is a gerbil. She and her sister are quite accomplished paper shredders. They can deconstruct a sheet of paper in under 30 seconds when they work together.

Actually my "office" sort of uses a gerbil shredder. We have one paper shredder that is dedicated to internal recipes, which are handled by only a couple of people and use a vegetable ink - so the shredded paper is nice and clean. I take a couple of big bags of it home twice a month to use in my gerbils' cages. They love it because it "digs" and packs as well as dirt and I love it because I'm reusing and it's free and I can compost it. The super duper gerbil eco paper shredder! lol!
