Ohohoho... ahahaaha.... Okay, so announced in her journal she'd be making a Knockout costume to match her Ask Dr. Knockout account on Tumblr ([link] ) and also mentioned that I'd be making a Cyclonus to match my Ask Cyclonus account (askcyclonus.tumblr.com), so I guess this is the point where I'm nailed down and bound to that decision lD;I'm so nervous, this is the first attempt at a costume I've ever... attempted. I might make an account on the Transcostumers website, recommend that I do so I can get feedback and advice throughout the creation process, so it sounds like a smart move. Or, I'll be stubborn and be a loner through the whole thing and just show up at the party :l The party that is BotCon XD; I plan to go to BotCon 2013, and it'll be my first BotCon, too! So I'll pretty much be a puddle of nerves lD;
Anyhow, this be my mask thus far :I I really hope to do my best on this project, please wish me luck!! XD;;

Thank you! Unfortunately not yet, as far as I know at least. A friend recommended I join the TF Collector's Club, as they're usually pretty up on finding out when/where Botcon is.

Yeah, I've thought about joining. I believe they have monthly dues though... not entirely sure. If they do, that might not be something I can afford on a monthly basis. But maybe I will look into it more. Again, good luck with the rest of it.

Holy crap that looks really awesome. O_O and You're luck to go to botcon! I went to the 2011 one and laserbot there too. so far you look like you're doing alright. I'm a craftsman myself and I have some experiencing making things and figuring out these kins of things. If You need help shoot me a message. I'm willing to help. ^^ (I'll note you my contact)

I've made cosplays and costumes before. I've made mostly Pokemon themed stuff and recently I've done something Amnesia based. ((and off note I helped made...other interesting things... >>; )) But armors I've helped and studied on as well. mostly studied but about the same. TF armor makes me think of Paper polygonal crafts to me just on a larger scale. XD

What materials are you using?

Thanks! X) For this I used craft foam covered with spandex material, found it under the 'sports/dancewear' aisle of Joann's fabric store. Most of it is hot glued, but I also did some sewing in a few (very much hidden) places X) The entire thing will be covered in the same kind of spandex (tho the purple is gonna be much shinier ) but I'll also be using a thicker foam (that green kind you can put on matresses or chairs) layered with craft foam to give more support/impact protection
