Wore this bad boy (in a manner of speaking) to the Phoenix Comicon this past weekend, and what a blast! You wouldn't believe how many people were shouting "Hey, Casey!" at me. xD I got a lotta fist bumps from approving fanboys and even a marriage proposal! The little kids were the best, though, I'd hear them tell their parents who I was all excitedly and a few even told me how many times a day they saw me on TV. For photos, I let them hold the hockey stick. xD

Only catch was that on the first day of the convention, I was told that security had apparently been radioed "about three minutes ago" that hockey sticks were suddenly banned. I spent quite some time preparing this costume, carefully following the Con's weapon policies on their website... Y'know, I think they must've seen me comin' the moment I walked in through the front door. lD; So I spent that night crafting up some fake ones; upside of that is that I got to give them custom "East-Man" decals so they'd be show-accurate.

The shoulder and shin guard were made from scratch with foam coated with fiberglass resin and painted.
