Had the idea floating around in my head, and was in the mood to get it out. Not sure where this would be from, but Leafpool's gone through so much sorrow and pain it could be from a lot of places.It's a WIP; I may make her a bit more fluffy, and make the sky a little more interesting. Originally I wanted to have the skylight reflected in her eyes...just didnt have the time, I may change it for the final piece.
I'm also apparently avoiding finishing all my work...so Im going to kick myself in the butt and get something done lol.

What do you brush used and what do you have metod shading ?

In all honesty, I jsut use the basic round brush with transparency/size checked for pen pressure (photoshop). More recently Ive been messing around with sai and their brush settings...but I usually keep it pretty simple.

Leafpool simply looks haggard and sentimental,she has just withstanded so much pain like the hatred of her kids,the anger of her father etc..Your drawing expressed her emotion so well!

I have to admit I've just had no desire to draw lately. D: I think Im jsut distracted with life, but figured it good to jsut do something without feeling the need to do crazy on the details, and it turned out well.

one of my most annoying problems in art class was that my pieces were hardly ever considered finished. they usually looked too rough and sketchy << anyways, i really like this so far! i think it looks fine the way it is but it'd be cool to see where you go with it if you keep working on it ^^

yes! I think I'm just setting the bar too high for myself....and don't want to draw as a result (which seems ridiculous), so time to just do some loose stuff for the fun of it.
