I'm not as happy with this as I'd like composition-wise...but I didn't feel any more warriors would fit into the scene.Jayfeather walks (or runs) in Halfmoon's dreams, while Yellowfang and Bluestar sit guaging his strength on the edge of Starclan .
I wanted to portray Bluestar in this, as seeing longing for love and knowing the pain it causes, but also questioning Jay's strength to pull through for Thunderclan.
I also decided Yellowfang is cracking her prickly exerior to comfort Bluestar, telling her to let him enjoy these very few moments.
I was summoning Mufasa in the clouds for them, so yes they're huge. XD I dunno if it totally came accross though, but meh.
Jay's trip to The Tribe is the only redeeming part of his story, I really hate him otherwise >.< ...so this may be the only pic of him you ever see from me lol.
Sadly this book is also the only book I've enjoyed out of the last 12. This whole heaven vs hell, and superpower cats thing...is just getting silly to me, and I haven't really liked any of the newer characters at; I will always hold the first 12 books in high esteem, and love illustrating them, but I think it's back to adult books for me for a while. >.>'

i can understand why the last books don't appeal to you that much, they don't to me either : P i much prefer the first 2 series ^^ i like this drawing! i actually didn't see Half-Moon at first tho xD

Jayfeather has never been my favourite cat either, but he's also the only cat I have pairings for. lol
I donno if you have heard of this, but the new series that has just come out "dawn of the clans" goes back to before the clans were made. I've read the first book, and there doesn't seem to be much about starclan powers and stuff like that.. I believe they are going back to things like cat relationships and stuff like that .. so you might wanna try this one. ^^
and theres always the "special editions" if you haven't read those!

yeah, I probably will grab the prequils. I've loved the super editions (blue, fire, and leaf's so far), and have to say as I've not minded the last 2 books of Omen of the Stars...its jsut rediculous that it took them 10 books to get to this point. >.<

I agree, I was so surprised when the dark forest problem wasn't solved at the end of the "power of three" series.
I kinda feel like firestar's death was really sudden though ;u;

Thanks! I like the idea of the endless fields they portray in the books too, but there's just something nice about spirits frollicking in the clouds. ^.^
