A Migrant Hawker Dragonfly that finally behaved itself long enough to get an in-flight shot or two,after chasing it around for what seemed like hours ;Nikon D90,Nikon 70-300 VR zoom @300,iso400,F8,1/400th/s.

Well Many of the things that are in DD I often wonder why they are there. Your picture is so much better as loads of the ones that seem to be picked. But I am likely old fashioned I suppose, and can't SEE why they are good. I just know what I like, and I LOVE your picture

I was lucky to spot its hunting circuit ,so i just waited for it to come past and hover where i could grab some shots
